The USDB Education Foundation
The USDB Education Foundation provides support to Utah’s children who are deaf, blind, or deaf-blind, supplementing the generous support provided by the taxpayers of Utah. The Utah Legislature provides funding for essential educational services and school activities at USDB, but the unique needs of these children often extend beyond what public funding can provide.
Through the generosity of individuals, foundations, and corporations, the USDB Education Foundation helps provide resources such as hearing aids, eyeglasses, white canes, assistive technology, specialized equipment, and additional learning opportunities. The Foundation works closely with USDB educators and staff to identify needs and direct resources where they can make a meaningful difference.
Your support helps give children who are deaf, blind, or deaf-blind greater access, independence, opportunity, and the tools they need to reach their potential.

Mission Statement
The mission of the USDB foundation is to provide resources and financial support to meet the unique needs of the children and families served by the Utah Schools for the Deaf and the Blind
Objectives
- Develop sustainable support funding for USDB-led extracurricular education programs and charitable activities
- Provide accessible resources and enrichment activities directly to Utah children who are deaf, blind, or deaf-blind and their families so they can experience the highest quality of life possible
- Assist this population in having a seamless integration into society
- Provide willing donors with the opportunity to provide meaningful support to children who are deaf, blind, and deaf-blind
